CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Aulerci Eburovices. Late 2nd to first half of 1st century BC. Half Stater (Electrum, 18 mm, 3.13 g, 12 h), 'au sanglier' type. Celticized male head to left, with a boar standing left at his neck. Rev. Devolved charioteer driving cart to right; before, pellet-in-annulet; below, boar standing right with pellet below. DT 2402. LT 7018 var. (without pellet-in-annulet). SLM 250. An unusually complete example with lovely reddish toning. Good very fine.
